For Fosters: Circle of Security Parenting Virtual Groups

You are invited to join Circle of Security Parenting Virtual Groups at no cost starting the week of August 19^th !

To register you must be:

• Foster or Adoptive parents or Relative placement
• Have a child ages birth to 6 or open for placement for this age range
• Reside in DFCS Regions 5 and 6*

• Have a safe, happy relationship with your child
• Manage challenging behaviors effectively
• Build your child’s self- esteem
• Increase confidence in your parenting skills

Participants will receive a $20 gas card for each session participation as well as for completing a pre- and post-surveys. A total of $200 in gas cards can be received for full participation.  

GROUPS WILL BEGIN WEEK OF August 19, 2024 and will run for 8 consecutive weeks with 1.5 hour sessions -OR- start the month of September for 4 weeks with 3 hour sessions.

* Foster family must reside in Region 5 or 6 counties.

Region 5: Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, Greene, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Newton, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Rockdale, Walton;

Region 6: Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jasper, Jones, Peach, Putnam, Monroe, Twiggs, Wilkinson
